In order to attach Offset Feeder Legs to your feeder, the feeder must have a barrel band with stub legs. The stub legs should be a maximumof 8 inches long and the barrel band should be attached to the center of the feeder. The feeder pictures in the Photo Gallery will show where the barrel band should be attached on several different types of feeders. The barrel band can be on a 55 gallon metal barrel, a 30 gallon metal barrel or a 200-225 pound poly barrel. See photos.
Boss Buck feeders do not require barrel bands, but six ¼ inch holes must be drilled in order to move the leg plates. Tools required are two 7/16 inch wrenches, one ¼ inch drill bit and drill.
Note: If you modify the Boss Buck Feeder, or any other brand feeder, in order to attach the Offset Feeder Legs, their warranty may be voided.
